Pursuit of Happiness

I bloody love this song. Pursuit of happiness by Kid Kudi.

Aren't we all on the Pursuit of happiness? Isn't that what lifes about? How do we get it? And most importantly how do we maintain it? This song always makes me feel a little happier anyway.

Pinup Art

I have become a teeny bit obsessed with pinup art of late. Love the old hollywood/marilyn monroe-ish/pinup glamour. So I stumbled across this website http://pinuptoons.com/ - which has some cool pinup art - you can also purchase prints on their site . I escpecially like the sketches pages - if you are considering drawing in this style it is good to see how they started out in their sketches and get the feel for how the images are constructed. Below are some pics that I like on their site.

On that note.

Okay so today I have a few random things to blog about, just bits and pieces that I found on the internet throughout my day that I thought I would share.

Okay so first thing is these amazing girls from a company called Boudoir Divas. I love a good entrepenuer success story so here is todays so check out their website on http://www.theboudoirdivas.com/

Basically these guys are photographers who have created a business around making women feel sexy no matter their age or size. Here are some pics from their blog. They last two show just how unsexy too skinny is and how if you have curves you should flaunt them.

The following is a quote I found on another photographers website which I like and thought I would share.

My goal isn’t to be rich – it isn’t to be famous. My purpose isn’t to take pretty pictures and become a better photographer. My goal – is to be free – to have choice. To continue growing and be able to respond to whatever need the world presents to me.

Law of attraction

Energy, enthusiasm and optimism are what I strive to achieve each day.

However I often have an off day and struggle to feel enthusiastic about pulling myself out of bed for yet another day at work. I yearn for a way out of the nine to five but can never settle on what I want to do.

I want to be a fashion designer... but no wait a second that field is already overcrowded. I want to be a photographer... no wait that is such a hard industry to get into.

Destructive thinking I know - and it needs to change.. no wait… it is going to change. Below are some youtube videos of will smith and oprah that are pretty dam inspiring about changing you mindset and the law of attraction.

www.powerlawofattraction.com

1. Write Down Your Goals. No matter how big. If you have the desire for something or it ‘pops’ into your head you can achieve it. If you don’t think you cannot have it, that is just a belief. You can also and should write down what you don’t want. Then change it to what you do want. Make sure you’re writing is in the present tense, use as many details as possible and make it positive!

2. Find a Picture of the End Result for you and add it to your vision board. The picture only has to make sense to you. If it doesn’t juice you up and get you excited, change it.

3. Write out your ideal day film script. Write about your perfect day. Again in the present tense and make it positive. There are no limits of any kind.

4. EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques). As you write, find images, thing about what it is that you want. You’ll most likely come up against some ‘walls’. Oh that’s unrealistic, that’s not possible. I can’t, don, must, need etc. All of these are beliefs and negative emotions and beliefs which can easily be cleared by EFT.

My EFT site is here – http://www.eftmagic.com/ . Learning and applying EFT to my own life has literally be life transforming. Also check out some of the comments about using EFT in the forum from other members – see number 9 below.

5. Work. LOA does include a often forgotten or not wanted work step. What can you do it make what you want happen.Who can you contact, what can you read or watch etc. Who else done what I want, can I copy them in some way, shape or form? To the extent that you’re prepared to do everything yourself to get your goal done, you will not have to.

6. Noise and Music. You can listen to any background music or noise. Make sure it is positive, life affirming and encouraging. If it has lyrics or words, listen to them really, really carefully first. Otherwise you’ll be programming yourself negatively without knowing.

7. Audio Books. Find as many as you can on subjects that you like or want to learn. The amount of down time you have to listen to them is incredible. Turn off the TV! Do you take the bus, train or walk to school or work everyday? Do you know how much free time you have?

8. Software. I highly recommend you use some software called Subliminal Power, it flashes positive messages which constantly remind you of your end result all the time as you are sat in front of your PC. Do you know how many hours that is? Lots!

9. The Law of Attraction Forum -There are so many post here on so many different topics giving so much, advice, help and support. You don’t need to sit there wondering any more. Take a look around. Better yet, post a new topic and ask a question.

HOT AND FUN

Check out this new video by N.E.R.D and Nelly Furtardo.

Very Hot and Fun!

Bohemian Style

I am liking Isabel Lucas's lighter locks these days and loving her bohemian style.
With her dolphin saving and mountain climbing (for the clean water crises) she makes me feel like I need to adopt an orphan or something. Good on her! It is refreshing to see someone in hollywood who isn't just spending their time deciding on which boob job they should get.

Living the dream

Summer time in the USA…

August last year myself, my brother and my sis in-law headed to the US of A.
It was only a short holiday of three weeks but damn we saw a fucking lot and consumed a considerable amount of fruit tingle cocktails in the process.

Our trip started in LA, a place that is a lot less glamorous than it is made out to be, but after a trip to Santa Monica and a topless tour (and I am meaning topless car - cheeky) of the hollywood hills - the place begins to grow on you. Not to mention we found an awesome vegetarian restaurant tucked in one of the backstreets off the sunset strip - I can safely say the best vegetarian I have eaten.

From LA it was off to VEGAS VEGAS VEGAS, I loved Vegas if you didn't get that from the CAPS. Vegas is filled with fun and all-you-can-eat buffets… need I say more.

We went to san fran, Vancouver, Toronto, Niagra Falls and NEW YORK. New york.. yes another favourite. That city just has an electric vibe and you can just get drunk on the energy.. or on the cocktails at one of the fabulous little restaurants that they have saturating the city. My advice while you are in New York – catch a broadway show! Amazing.

Anyway below are some shots I captured whilst over there.
