I have been taking quite a few photos over the past week or so - as I am moving on Sunday and want some memories to take with me. So I might be absent from posting over the next week while I move. Eek! I am moving!

new chapter

I have had some big changes happen in my life over the last week and a half - so I am sorry if I have not been the best blogger of late and if I am not the best over the next few weeks. I have taken a new job! And am about to move to a totally new place that is about a 12 hour drive from where I am now!

Why? Because I am crazy… and because I am moving to be with my boyfriend. We have been doing long distance for about a year now and when a job opportunity came up near him I decided to take it. So it is my last week at my current job as I leave Sunday on a 12 hour drive to what will be my new home for a little while. I am slightly nervous about the move but as I have been telling myself it is a new adventure and why the fuck not!

I am in the middle of making some big decisions in my life and when I find myself getting a little stressed about it I remember this quote.

As its coming up to winter I am starting to think about my closet yet again... So I did some winter online shopping and here are some looks that I am liking.

I have been trying to cut back on the amount of weekends I waste waking up with a hangover and being completely useless all day long - although I believe these weekends are necessary as well - I just want to cut back. So I have been feeling very refreshed lately and slightly richer (yay) and have even found myself doing morning walks. So today - even though it was a little rainy - I decided to venture out for a Sunday morning walk and get a coffee. Methyr village in Brisbane has nice little coffee shops so I stopped in at one and ordered a skinny latte and than pulled up at a table to read a magazine. I looked around for one of those rediculous celebrity gossip mags - the ones that are pretty much full of shit but I sometimes can't help myself- but couldn't see one so I settled for a little arts mag that I had never seen before and can't even remember the name to tell you. But anyway I found an article in it about an amazing talented artist Gemma Correll, who created these gorgeous drawings in this post. Check out more of her work here.

Suddenly feel inspired to pick up some Faber Castell pens and attempt some works myself.
